ADIPEC 2026: a visitor's guide to Abu Dhabi
ADIPEC, the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference, returns to ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 2 to 5 November 2026. The organisers cite more than 239,000 attendees and over 2,250 exhibiting companies, so it pays to plan ahead. This short guide covers dates, passes, getting there and where to stay.
Key facts
- Dates: 2 to 5 November 2026.
- Venue: ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, Khaleej Al Arabi Street, Abu Dhabi.
- Opening hours: 10:00 to 18:30 from 2 to 4 November, and 10:00 to 17:30 on 5 November.
- Passes: the visitor pass is paid and covers all exhibition halls. The organisers say the price goes up during show days, so it is cheaper to register in advance. Conference delegate passes are sold separately. Register on the official site: adipec.com/register.
- Age rule: children under 18 are not allowed into the exhibition.
- Who it's for: people working in energy. The show brings together national and international energy companies, suppliers, technical specialists and 30 country pavilions.
- Visa help: after you register, ADIPEC can issue an invitation letter to support a visa application.
Getting there
- Parking: the organisers' parking map says there is no onsite parking during the show. Park and ride shuttles run from Al Shahama, Deerfields Mall, Old Airport, Al Raha and Marina Mall, every 10 to 15 minutes from 08:00 to 20:00. Check the official parking map before you go.
- Taxi: taxi drop-off is at the Marina, near Hall 17. Abu Dhabi taxis (TransAD) can be booked on 600 53 53 53, and Careem works across the city.
- Bus: public bus route 040 serves ADNEC every day.
- From the airport: ADNEC says Abu Dhabi's airport is about 15 minutes away.
- From Dubai: allow around 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes by road, depending on traffic. Intercity buses also run between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Where to stay nearby
- At the venue: Andaz Capital Gate and Aloft Abu Dhabi are connected directly to ADNEC, the easiest option if you want to walk in each morning.
- Wider Abu Dhabi: the city has plenty of hotels within a short taxi ride. ADIPEC's official travel partner, FLYT, can help with flights and hotels.
- Staying in Dubai: possible, but it means more than an hour on the road each way, so it suits people splitting their trip between both cities.

- Dress: business attire is the norm. Comfortable shoes help across the halls.
Thinking about Dubai property while you're here?
Many ADIPEC visitors fly through Dubai or add a few days there. If you are already in the UAE, it is a good moment to see Dubai neighbourhoods in person, meet agents and developers face to face and compare price, rent, service charges and vacancy before you decide. It is worth working out the net return, not just the headline yield.
