Buying while you're in Dubai?

Making the most of the trip
- Weather: November is warm but much more comfortable than the summer. Daytime highs drop from the mid 30s°C early in the month towards the high 20s by the end, with cooler evenings. The halls are air-conditioned, so a light layer helps.
- Visas: some nationalities get a visa on arrival, others need to apply before travelling. Check u.ae. Your passport should be valid for at least six months.
- Dress: business or smart casual. Comfortable shoes help across large halls.
- Eating out: Expo City has cafés and restaurants on site.
Thinking about Dubai property while you're here?
Expo City Dubai sits in Dubai South, in the south of the city, near Al Maktoum International Airport. A trade show is also a good moment to look at property: you can see neighbourhoods, buildings and commutes in person and meet agents and developers face to face. Whether an area suits you depends on price, rent, service charges, vacancy and your timeline, so it is worth working out the net return, not just the headline yield, before you commit.
