Big 5 Global 2026: a visitor's guide to Dubai
Big 5 Global brings the construction and urban development industry to Dubai every year. In 2026 it runs from 23 to 26 November at Dubai World Trade Centre, in the heart of the city on Sheikh Zayed Road. Getting there
- By metro: the World Trade Centre station on the Red Line connects directly to the venue. It is the easiest way in during a busy show.
- Park and ride: during GITEX 2025, Gulf News reported free multi-storey parking for metro users at the National Paints, Centrepoint and e& metro stations. Check RTA for current arrangements before you go.
- By taxi or ride-hailing: ask to be dropped at the Exhibition Plaza entrance on Sheikh Zayed Road. Careem is the show's official transport partner.
- By car: there is parking next to the Exhibition Plaza and at the nearby Sheikh Rashid Parking Tower. Expect to pay during major shows: Gulf News reported rates starting at AED 100 for the first hour at Exhibition Street Parking during GITEX 2025. Keep your ticket, as a lost ticket carries a fee.
- From the airport: DWTC is about a 10-minute drive from Dubai International Airport (DXB), traffic permitting.
Where to stay nearby
- Trade Centre and Sheikh Zayed Road: the closest option, with hotels and serviced apartments along the road and a short walk or one metro stop from the venue.
- DIFC: Dubai's financial centre, right next door, with hotels, galleries and some of the city's best-known restaurants.
- Downtown Dubai: a couple of Red Line stops away, home to Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall. Busy and lively in the evenings.
- The show's official hotel partner is HotelMap, linked from the official site.

Making the most of the trip
- Weather: November is when the UAE moves into its cooler season, with warm days, cooler nights and the odd foggy morning. A light layer helps for evenings and air-conditioned halls.
- Visas: some nationalities get a visa on arrival, others need to apply before travelling. Check the official UAE government portal u.ae and confirm with the UAE embassy in your country.
- Dress: business or smart casual is the norm. Comfortable shoes help across large halls.
- Eating out: DIFC and Downtown Dubai are both close by for lunch meetings and dinner.
- Stay a little longer: GITEX Global follows in early December, so some visitors combine both trips.
Thinking about Dubai property while you're here?
Few visitors see Dubai's property market as closely as the Big 5 crowd. Many of the people building the city's next towers and communities are in one place for four days. DWTC sits on Sheikh Zayed Road between DIFC, Za'abeel and Downtown Dubai, some of the city's most established areas for offices, hotels and high-rise apartments.
A trip for a big show is also a good moment to look at property. You can see neighbourhoods, buildings and commutes in person, meet agents and developers face to face, and get a feel for daily life in a few days. Whether an area suits you depends on price, rent, service charges, vacancies and your timeline, so it is worth working out the net return, not just the headline yield, before you commit.
