Buying while you're in Dubai?

If you're looking at property during your visit, check the real return before you commit. Our calculator shows the net yield after every cost, or message us about a specific unit.

Making the most of the trip

  • Weather: early November is still warm. Daytime highs can be in the mid 30s°C early in the month, dropping towards the high 20s by the end, with cooler evenings. Much of the festival is outdoors, so bring water and a hat for the day and a light layer for the evening.
  • Visas: some nationalities get a visa on arrival, others need to apply before travelling. Check u.ae. Your passport should be valid for at least six months.
  • Dress: casual and comfortable. Wear good shoes, as the festival spreads across the district.
  • Plan around the weekend: the Marketplace and the busiest days fall on 7 and 8 November.

Thinking about Dubai property while you're here?

Design Week is a good moment to see how Dubai homes are furnished and styled, and how much that can matter for rents. If you are thinking about property, you can also see neighbourhoods such as Downtown Dubai and Business Bay in person, check commutes and meet agents and developers face to face. Whether an area suits you depends on price, rent, service charges and vacancy, so it is worth working out the net return, not just the headline yield.
