Dubai Shopping Festival 2026-27: a visitor's guide
The 32nd Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) runs for 45 days, from 4 December 2026 to 17 January 2027, with retail promotions, raffles and events across the city. This short guide covers the dates, what's on so far, getting around and where to stay.
Key facts
- Dates: 4 December 2026 to 17 January 2027 (45 days).
- Organiser: Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE).
- Returning: etisalat DSF Nights, DSF x Hatta Wadi Hub, DSF Auto Season, etisalat MOTB, raffles, mall activations and retail promotions.
- New this season: the first DSF edition of etisalat Beach Canteen at Sunset Beach, with food, live entertainment and workshops.
- January: etisalat MOTB and DSF Auto Season continue into the final days of the festival.
- Full programme: organisers say headline entertainment, prizes and offers will be announced in the coming weeks. Check Visit Dubai for updates.
Getting there
- By metro: the Red and Green Lines reach many of the city's biggest malls. Top up a Nol card before you travel.
- By taxi or ride-hailing: easy across the city, but expect busy roads and car parks around malls on weekends and evenings.
- Hatta: Hatta is in the mountains, well outside the city, so plan for a long drive.
Where to stay nearby
- Downtown Dubai: Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa on the doorstep, and on the Red Line.
- Dubai Marina and JBR: beachfront, with malls, restaurants and the Red Line and tram nearby.
- Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim: close to Sunset Beach and the beach, with a quieter, residential feel.
Buying while you're in Dubai?
If you're looking at property during your visit, check the real return before you commit. Our calculator shows the net yield after every cost, or message us about a specific unit.
Making the most of the trip
- Weather: December and January are Dubai's coolest months, with average highs of about 24 to 26°C and lows of about 14 to 16°C. Bring a light layer for evenings.
- Visas: some nationalities get a visa on arrival, others need to apply before travelling. Check u.ae. Your passport should be valid for at least six months.
- Busy season: DSF overlaps with the winter holidays and New Year, so book flights and hotels early.
- Dress: light clothes by day, a layer for the evenings, and modest dress in malls.
Thinking about Dubai property while you're here?
Winter is Dubai's busiest visitor season, and DSF brings many people to the city at once. If you are thinking about Dubai property, a visit lets you see neighbourhoods at their busiest, check commutes and meet agents and developers face to face. Compare price, rent, service charges and vacancy, and work out the net return, not just the headline yield, before you commit.
