Buying while you're in Dubai?

If you're looking at property during your visit, check the real return before you commit. Our calculator shows the net yield after every cost, or message us about a specific unit.

Making the most of the trip

  • Weather: November is warm but much more comfortable than the summer. Daytime highs drop from the mid 30s°C early in the month towards the high 20s by the end. Bring a hat and sunscreen for the open grandstands; umbrellas are not allowed there.
  • Visas: some nationalities get a visa on arrival, others need to apply before travelling. Check u.ae. Your passport should be valid for at least six months.
  • Water: single-use plastic bottles are not allowed, but there are free refill stations inside, so bring a reusable bottle.
  • Tickets are sent around ten days before the event in the Fever app. Buy only from the official site.

Thinking about Dubai property while you're here?

Port Rashid sits on the waterfront by Bur Dubai, in one of the city's oldest areas. If you are thinking about Dubai property, a race weekend is a good chance to see waterfront neighbourhoods in person and meet agents and developers face to face. Compare price, rent, service charges and vacancy, and work out the net return, not just the headline yield, before you commit.
